Our Story

Why We Exist

The Commonwealth Trust Fund was established to address the critical lack of access to affordable agricultural financing in developing economies across the Commonwealth. Millions of smallholder farmers and agri-entrepreneurs lack the capital to modernize, expand, or even sustain their operations.

CTF bridges this gap by providing flexible loans from $50,000 to $5,000,000, alongside technical assistance and market linkages. We are a non-political, nonprofit fund administered by agricultural and financial experts with oversight from a board of trustees representing all Commonwealth regions.
